Registration and Participation

This page contains all the essential information about abstract submission, participation formats, deadlines, registration fees, and registration for the 10th International Symposium of Music Pedagogues.

*The symposium is recognised among scholars from Europe and the United States, as well as by the professional associations European Association for Music in Schools (EAS) and Association Européenne des Conservatoires (AEC).

Presentation Formats

Proposals may be submitted in one of the following formats:

  • oral presentation
  • workshop
  • poster
  • panel

Important Dates

  • Abstract submission deadline: 15 November 2026
  • Notification of abstract acceptance: 10 December 2026
  • Full paper submission deadline (optional): 10 January 2027
  • Symposium dates: 6–8 May 2027

Abstract Submission

Authors should submit their abstracts using the application form.

The abstract submission should include:

  • paper title
  • author’s full name
  • author biography of up to 200 words
  • institutional affiliation
  • contact email address
  • presentation format
  • abstract of up to 300 words (panel subtheme 200 words)
  • keywords

The abstract should clearly indicate the topic and aim of the paper, its theoretical or methodological point of departure, the research or practical framework, and the expected contribution to the field of music education.

Conference Proceedings

  • prepared and published before the symposium
  • international double-blind peer review
  • international editors
  • in previous symposium proceedings, more than half of the papers were authored by international contributors
  • indexed in RILM and EBSCO databases
  • manuscript preparation instructions and technical guidelines will be provided to authors following abstract acceptance
